Darian McClain is a passionate cannabis activist and innovative cannabis baker based in Florida. As the proud owner of her own bakery, Lil Dank Red’s Basket LLC., Darian combines her love for baking with her commitment to advocating for cannabis legalization and education. Since 2022, she has actively participated in lobby days in Tallahassee, Florida with a prominent Cannabis Activism Organization alongside renowned activist Cathy Jordan, pushing for meaningful policy changes in the state. In addition to her baking endeavors, Darian currently serves as a team lead in Duval County for a nonprofit organization focused on entheogenic medicines, where she works to raise awareness and promote responsible use of these substances. A dedicated mom of two, Darian strives to create a better world for her children while nurturing her passion for holistic health and community engagement. Through her work, she aims to empower others and foster a more informed and compassionate approach to cannabis and wellness.

Megan is a molecular biologist and the founder/CEO of SafeTiva Labs in Massachusetts, an independent testing lab. After earning her PhD in molecular biology from Caltech, she joined the faculty at Hampshire College. There, she taught undergraduate courses and led research programs in public health and structural biology. After receiving tenure, she pursued a career in cannabis testing by opening a lab in Westfield, MA. Now she engages with the industry and regulators to adopt science-based, data-driven policy.
